Lost in the first round to Downing W1 by two lengths.
Well done today! I think you did a really good job; Downing had an amazing first 20 strokes and were really able to push off that, but we held them at about 2 lengths for the whole second half of the race. We were rating about 37 for the first half, which was a bit rushed, but settled down to 34 for the second half. I felt like as a crew, there was less drop in power towards the end than there has been in the past, but nevertheless you managed to put that little bit extra into the last 15 or so strokes, which was lovely. I think we definitely have a lot of potential, and we should be able to have a decent shot at bumps :)
